We live in a time when the vast majority of networking and business interactions take place in digital spaces like Linkedin (that’s probably how you got here to begin with). But as long as there are conferences, meetings, conventions, and coffee shop raffles, business cards will be relevant.
Sure, there are email signatures that serve a similar purpose, but those can be broken between email clients, images can be blocked, and they often look totally different on mobile. So a physical card is always going to be the best option to quickly sum up who you are and what you do.
Business cards are key to branding and helping people remember who you are and what your business is about. And if you want to make an impression that sticks (no one has asked me to make sticky note business cards yet, but I’m waiting) you need to get creative. That said, here’s some of what I’ve done in the last few years.
